29 Jan Final Day at Treginnis
Poseidon class final daily update from Treginnis
After toasted marshmallows on the bonfire last night, we had a story and headed to bed- we needed plenty of sleep for a busy final day. A spectacular sunrise greeted us on our morning task, we loved hanging out with the animals one last time! Today it was our turn to cook lunch, we prepared pizzas and all agreed that they were delicious.
Unfortunately large grey clouds appeared just as we set off for the beach, but the gloomy weather could not dampen our spirits! Andrew the farmer gave us a challenge to unearth some interesting marine life, Ed and his group did amazingly- finding limpets, crabs and even jellyfish! We also paddled, created some art and collected litter. Taliyah and her friends felt really proud of their creation, which they made using stones and seaweed in the style of Andy Goldsworthy.
Now we’re all tucked up in bed after the conclusion of the story- written by Michael Morpurgo one of the founders of Farms for City Children.
