28 Jan Day 4 from Treginnis
The latest update from Treginnis
We began our day bright and early after a good night’s sleep! Phoebe’s group cleaned the pooh out of poultry huts, ‘It was gross!’ She laughed. Olivia’s group had a rare treat- taking the goats for a walk! After our morning task, we ate breakfast- some of us had bacon from pigs which had lived at Treginnis.
At 9:45, Poseidon class set off on a walk to St David’s, where we took a tour of the Cathedral, which Joseph calculated, is 970 years old. We learned so much about the history of St David’s and St David himself- Arda even got to dress up as him! Mary (the owner of the ice cream shop) invited us to have a treat before we returned to Treginnis and she was full of praise for our manners. Bellies full of ice cream (in January!), we began the quick march back to the farm. Max calculated that we walked 4.6 miles in total.
We’ve completed some more farm tasks (including returning the goats to their freshly made beds) and now it’s time to have a bonfire!
