27 Jan Treginnis Update
A visit to St David’s
Despite a change in the weather, spirits have not dampened! Getting up at 6.45 is getting a little harder but the children are taking their farm jobs seriously and battling wind and rain to deliver a quality food and care service to the animals!
The entire team of farmers have been very impressed with the children’s good manners, punctuality, dedication and work ethic. They have engaged in a range of tasks varying from walking donkeys to milking goats and picking turnips. Each child has chosen a favourite animal and activity but their excitement is palpable across the farm.
Evenings are spent playing board games, chatting and listening to a story by the fire with hot chocolate before having a well earned sleep.
Today saw the children visit St. David’s Cathedral where they learned about the history of the local area and the cathedral itself. Again, they made us proud with their exemplary manners throughout the tour.
