30 Jun International Mud Day
In reception we have been learning………………………
Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud!
We rely so much on mud from beauty treatments to our daily tableware but how important is mud for us? Well, from the beginning of time, healthy children, germs and dirt have had a long and happy relationship. The digging, squishing, splashing and exploring that our mud kitchen and digging area provides, allows our children to understand the earth beneath their feet. And this year, as we come to terms with living with a virus, its been all the more important for our children to engage with nature around them…and kids who have a soggy boggy squishy and squashy adventures are mostly always happy kids – so happy International Mud Day everyone!
