Latest update from Rhea class
We were woken up this morning by Neville on the cornet playing the last post! What a wake up call!
After a great night’s sleep for all, everyone was was ready and energised for a brilliant day of farming!
The day started with everyone being called to the lambing shed to watch a lamb being born- a fantastic experience for us all! The morning was spent mucking out and grooming the donkeys, milking the goats and checking on the sheep in the fields. This afternoon we took a beautiful wild and windy walk along the coastal path. As we looked out to sea, we spotted some porpoise! Coming home to a delicious roast dinner was the perfect end to a perfect day!
Emma A says, “I enjoyed the sheep check because we got to walk the dogs and climb up a buzzards rock.”
Jack says, “Seeing a lamb being born was amazing but it made me feel a bit funny!”
Abigail says, “It was great grooming the donkeys, I found it relaxing!”
Ethan says, “The coastal walk was a really fun experience, we got to see a porpoise and the whole day was great!”
