27 Jan Treginnis Update: Wet Wellies in Windy Wales
Now that we’re happily settled in bed, we’ve asked Ellie to write an update on our behalf…
We have experienced every type of weather imaginable today. Bright sunshine, drizzle and hail but most of all: wind! Undeterred by the gales, we headed out at 7:30 this morning- we had work to do!
Our first jobs were to feed the feed the goats, the sheep and their new born lambs. Following a hearty breakfast, which consisted of mountains of hot buttered toast, we headed out to do a sheep check along the coast. Walking the dogs: Milo, puddles and Kai was wonderful and we learned a lot about sheep. We also had a lot of horse pooh to clean up and some donkeys to groom!
As grey clouds began to form in the sky, we headed to the beach for rock-pooling and paddling. Not one of us complained about our soggy feet because we were having too much fun! When we eventually removed our boots, the sea water nearly flooded the boot room!
Llycan: ‘I bonded with a donkey today! They are the best!’
Eva: ‘Ellie, I love being here with you but I love the dogs more!’
Keep checking the website for more pictures- we’ll upload more tomorrow.
