More adventures at Treginnis
Today was an eventful day! After a lovely, long night’s sleep we headed out in the wind and rain to feed the goats, pigs and poultry and check on the sheep. We all had a lovely long play in Y Fald (the field) before sandwiches for lunch.
Bellies full, we began our stroll along the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. Keriah really loved the colourful view of Ramsey Island and Amelia thought the story about the lifeboat, which was too big for the lifeboat station was funny! There was no time for a break after our walk; we began another task- which would be cut a little short…
While Filip and Ali were feeding the pigs, everyone was summoned to lambing shed to witness something most of us had never seen before. A male lamb had already been born and luckily we were just in time to see his twin brother being helped into the world by Aled the farmer!
The twin lambs share a birthday with one of our friends so before dinner we decorated the dining room to prepare for a celebration. Mel the cook made a spectacular birthday cake for dessert- what a treat!
