28 Nov Canonbury Children Have the Power of ONE!
ANTI-BULLYING WEEK
On Tuesday 14th November we had a very special assembly all about how we can prevent bullying at Canonbury.
We learnt that:
Bullying is behaviour that hurts someone else – such as name calling, hitting, pushing, spreading rumours, threatening or undermining someone. It can happen anywhere – at school, at home or online. It’s usually repeated over a long period of time and can hurt a child both physically and emotionally.
We learnt about:
– Physical bullying
– Verbal bullying
– Social bullying
– Cyber bullying
At Canonbury we made an oath:
I will not bully others
I will not stand by while others are bullied
I will report and deal with bullying whenever I see it
Because I have the Power of One
