26 Jan Ofsted Report January 2017
Canonbury is a Good school
Canonbury Ofsted Inspection, January 2017
Canonbury had an Ofsted inspection on 10th January.
The above letter from the Inspector confirms that Canonbury continues to be a ‘Good’ school and provides a summary of our strengths and areas for development.
It is pleasing that Ofsted has recognised the impact of our teaching and learning strategy on children’s progress. I am also reassured that the targets identified by the Inspector are ones that are already part of our School Improvement Plan.
I am most proud of what the children say about their school and hope you will agree that the picture of Canonbury that takes shape in the letter matches the Vision and Values statements that the whole community contributed to last year.
We see the letter as a milestone on our way to even greater things and look forward to the next part of our exciting journey.
Patrick Mildren
Headteacher.
