Tasting session in Reception
Reception took part in a Taste Education workshop with Honey, a food nutritionist. They used their senses to explore the different foods that were presented. Honey arranged a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. The children used describing words to talk about how each food tastes, feels and sounds. They used words like; “sour,” “yummy,” “spicy,” soft,” “crunchy.”
The children enjoyed the session and they even showed their artistic skills.
