31 Jan The Cathedral and The Beach
Good time for a swim!
Day 5 –
A special treat for Rhea class after morning duties – A Songs of Praise camera crew! The children made the 2 mile journey, down the country lanes, to the smallest city in the UK – St Davids. First, we had a tour of the cathedral, learned about it’s history and the story of Saint David. The children enjoyed a performance from the choristers – a very relaxing and unique experience!
Afterwards, everyone visited the local sweet shop and enjoyed a much deserved sugar fix. Evening entertainment was the RHEA TALENT SHOW, which consisted of comedy, singing, dancing, gymnastics and some improv!
Day 6 –
This morning, everyone had a great treat of preparing home-made pizzas for their lunch and after devouring those we walked down to the local beach. Rhea class collected pebbles, hunted for crabs and played in the sea. The weather stayed bright and the children watched the tide come in from the rocks (only a few managed to stay dry!)
After the fun at the beach, the children came back to the warm farmhouse. Everyone had hot showers and settled down for the final evening of presentations of Farmers of The Week.
